We need new members to help us move forwards.

We want to know what you think. Feedback is really important to us - it's how we find out what we are doing right and what you'd like to see happen in the future.

UHSM became a Foundation Trust in 2006. This entitled the public to join us as members, and to have a say in the running of the Trust. Their involvement has proven to be invaluable.

There are no fees or obligations if you become a member. You can be as active as you like – from just receiving our literature and newsletters, to attending meetings and voting in Governor elections. Anyone who lives in the local area, and anyone who lives outside the area but has been a patient or carer of UHSM in the past 2 years, is able to join us. All staff do so automatically, unless they choose to opt out.

Membership is open to anyone over the age of 16, or non-voting Members can be aged 12-15.

Apply to become a Member online, or call our free Membership hotline on 0800 013 2038.
