Acute coronary care unit

The acute coronary care unit is a tertiary centre. This means we offer specialised consultative care for a range of heart problems. We admit between 70 and 90 patients a month for a wide range of treatments.

We now take patients experiencing heart attacks from Stockport and Trafford between the hours of 9am-4pm Monday to Friday.

We also take patients who have had immediate intervention but have seen no improvement or had further complications.

Visiting times are 2pm-8pm, Monday to Sunday.
