Bereavement Centre

The Bereavement Centre is suited on the first floor of the F block in the Green Zone. To locate the centre head along the corridor signposted to wards F3 and F4. Turn right opposite ward F3, and the Centre is on the corridor immediately on the left. The centre is signposted. The first entrance is for members of the public, and the second entrance is for staff, who can enter via swipe access.

The centre is open Monday – Friday excluding Bank Holidays. The centre is staffed from 7.30am until 4pm, but ask that members of the public ring ahead after 10am if possible.

The centre has 3 members of staff:

Debie Blair - 0161 291 2028 or debie.blair@uhsm.nhs.uk
Ann Hughes - 0161 291 2360
Rebecca Tunstull - 0161 291 4730

A Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages visits the centre two days per week. Staff from the centre make appointments for the Registrar but the number of appointments available may be limited. Staff from the centre will advise families regarding availability.

The staff are available to provide advice to Trust staff and bereaved relatives.
