Jim Quick Ward

The Jim Quick Ward is dedicated to transplant patients and offers unique experience in caring for patients pre and post heart /lung transplantation.

The Transplant Directorate has 16 beds, which supports the research laboratory, outpatient area, investigation facilities and short stay independent patient accommodation. The transplant service averages 37 cardiopulmonary transplants each year.

Location

The ward is located on a corridor off the main ground floor route between the Outpatients entrance and the F Block. This is known as the green route - see this map for its location. Leave the main route opposite WHSmith, pass the porters' room, and walk right down to the end.

If you are arriving in your own vehicle, the nearest places to leave it are Car Park A (the main car park) or Outpatients.
