Occupational Therapy
The Active Therapy Team address the needs of both patients and carers and is involved in health promotion, complementary therapies, diversional and social activities.
Occupational Therapy provides an assessment and treatment service to referred patients to enable them to maximise their potential, compensate for disability and aid discharge planning by working with the individual to aid their physical, functional and social needs. We cover a whole range of areas within the Hospital, including:

Location
The Acute and Rehabilitation Services are based at Wythenshawe Hospital, and the Active Therapy Service is based at Withington.
Inpatient referrals can be made on the O.T. Referral Form and faxed to us on 0161 291 5016.
