Fundraising
Over £900,000 has been raised by the Ticker Club since it was founded 22 years ago. Currently around £40,000 a year is raised and spent in the Hospital's cardiac wards to maximise treatment and care offered to all heart & valve procedure patients.
Our funds, in addition to members' subscriptions, are raised:
- at celebrity events, festivals, fun days and coffee mornings
- by box collections, direct donations and legacies
- through sponsored activities by individuals and groups
