The Trust is the host for the Greater Manchester Comprehensive Local Research Network.

The Trust is also part of the Greater Manchester Research Alliance which was formed in response to a desire across the city for a co-ordinated and synergistic pan-Manchester research strategy with major benefits for researchers and patients.

We therefore have very strong links with the University of Manchester, University of Salford, and Manchester Metropolitan University as well as other NHS Trusts across Greater Manchester.
