Child and Adult Care Co-ordinator

Our Child and Adult Care Co-ordinator supports and assists parents with childcare related issues and all staff who may have caring commitments outside of work, signposting carers to local organisations that offer advice and support.

The type of enquiries she can help with include:

Finding appropriate childcare to suit the needs of the child and parents, not just within the Manchester area
New Tax Credits
Advice on the new Maternity, Parental and Paternity rights
Developing new initiatives (for example holiday schemes) and networking with childminders who are willing to offer a more flexible approach to childcare
Offering a subsidy to help parents with the cost of childcare over the school holiday periods
Developing existing services within the NHS
Signposting carers to the appropriate organisation(s)
