The Trust board is responsible for the day-to-day running of the organisation and meets monthly to make decision on how the Trust is run. Meetings are held in public and members of the public are invited to attend. A separate part of the meeting is held in private where commercially sensitive information is discussed.
The Board considers performance, strategy and regulatory items and reports key decisions to the Council of Governors by way of a monthly briefing to them, and more formally at the Council of Governors quarterly meetings. The various Board Committees meet regularly throughout the year to discharge their duties effectively.
The first public meeting of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust will take place at 2pm in the Main Boardroom, Manchester Royal Infirmary, Oxford Road, Manchester M13 9WL. If you wish to attend this part of the meeting, please contact Alwyn Hughes 0161 276 4841.
