Welcome to Undergraduate Medical Education (UGME) at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. Our departments work in partnership with the Division of Medical Education, Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health at The University of Manchester to support and educate tomorrow's Doctors.
Undergraduate department – Oxford Road Campus
The Undergraduate Department is part of the Education Campus. It provides a base for Manchester medical students, with a clinical skills area, common room, PC cluster, showers & lockers. It is also home to a team of supportive and dedicated staff who organise teaching, examinations and pastoral support for undergraduate students.

Undergraduate department – Wythenshawe Hospital
Our supportive and committed team at Wythenshawe Hospital organises and delivers teaching for medical students and offer a wide variety of placements. The Department accommodates an exclusive student common room, Clinical Skills Area fully installed with teaching equipment and access to a state of the art Simulation Suite. We pride ourselves on receiving excellent feedback from our students on their placements and teaching.
