Smoking Cessation Clinic

You can refer yourself to the service, achieve advice on all elements of stopping smoking and arrange an appointment by calling the telephone number below.

If you find yourself an inpatient please ask any of the ward staff to refer you for support and access to Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT).

If you wish to attend clinic with a friend, colleague or family member who is also planning to stop smoking please just let the nurse know at time of booking.

The Smoking Cessation Nurse is able to advise on the full range of NRT as well as Zyban and Champix, all of which are safe, effective options, proven to help you stop smoking. In addition you are able to access ongoing, specialist, one-to-one support which significantly increase your chances of stopping smoking and being nicotine free for good.

The office is located on the corridor near Doyle/Wilson Wards, yellow route.

Clinics

Wythenshawe Hospital:
Mondays 1pm-4pm
Main Outpatients waiting area 5
Thursdays 1pm-4pm
Chest Clinic Room 10

Withington Hospital:
Tuesdays 8am-12pm
Main Outpatients Room 15

Clinics will run as above except for: annual leave, training, meetings, sickness etc. Walk in appointments can not always be accommodated, to avoid disappointment, please call for an appointment.
